SDCC Memorial: Michael Turner
| A Aspen Comics, companhia do finado Michael Turner, vai realizar um memorial ao artista durante a San Diego Comic Convention, próximo domingo.
Fui fã de Turner desde a primeira edição de Witchblade, e a notícia de sua morte foi um baque. Especialmente doloroso foi receber o Wizard Special: Michael Turner, uma edição capa-dura que havia encomendado via eBay… antes de sua morte. O livro chegou durante o SANA, então ainda não tive a chance de lê-lo. Postarei fotos do livro essa semana. |
Aspen Comics, company of the late Michael Turner, has scheduled a memorial for the artist. The proceedings will take place during the San Diego Comicon, next sunday.
I was a big Turner fan ever since laying eyes on Witchblade # 01, so the news came as a shock. I finally understand the “it hasn’t sunk in yet” line. It was specially painful to receive a copy of the Wizard Special: Michael Turner hardcover issue… which i had ordered before finding out about his passing. The book arrived while i was working at a comic convention, so i haven’t had the chance to read it just yet. I’ll be posting pics of the book this week. |
